Hickstead Premier League is always a great show. Last year it poured with rain and we were all being towed out of the show ground.This year the rain held off.

We took the same group of horses that we took to Somerford. Aspen Grove Duvie to do the PSG, Ramazzottie to do the Inter II and Nurejev to do the Grand Prix.

Duvie- I know I keep saying this, but, this horse is such a talent. Its always a very interesting time in a horses career when they step up into the higher levels. How they cope with the work, how they cope with the pressure. Duvie, being young and in his first year at PSG is just playing with the movements.

He finished 4th. He keeps impressing.

Ramazzottie - This was his 3rd Inter II. It really does feel like you start again when you get to this level. Zottie is starting to mature with the work now, he gave me a great ride and we won the class. That qualifies him directly for the National Championships in September.
