We headed off to Addington in the thick fog that hit most of the country. When we arrived we thought that maybe they would have to delay the start of the competition, as you couldn't see from one end of the arena to the other.
They did start so we got ready for the day ahead.
I took Nurejev out to compete in an Inter II. It was his first competition in 2 years & he was naturally a little ring rusty, but it was great to be out on him again. I was really happy with him throughout the test, he tried very hard and came home with a win at just under 69%.
I also took out my new ride for the season Korenbloem Dior. He is a 7 yr old German gelding owned by very good friends the Bell family. We went and did 2 Elementaries. It is always interesting the first time you ride them through a test, as it is so different from at home. He went really well winning both classes with a 76% and a 74%.
Aspen Grove's Working Pupil Jack Palfreyman rode Fraedo in two Novice tests. Both are growing in confidence and they came home with a 3rd and a 5th.
