ANKY CONVENTION

This years Convention was a sell out months before. With Anky and Sjef coming to town most of the dressage community wanted to see first hand their training methods.

It was a very interesting couple of days with 5 riders and then Anky riding one of her own horses each day.

Throughout the 2 days, most importance was put on basic reactions and keeping the neck relaxed. They wanted the horses to be very forward but always controlled, relaxed in the neck and straight.

The one point that was very different was no leg in the downward transitions.

The whole weekend was very clear in what they wanted and how they wanted to achieve it.
