Ramazzottie competed in his second International in as many weeks last weekend at Hickstead. It is one of the best shows we have in the UK for both competition and spectator value. With the best horses in the UK plus stars from abroad.
Unfortunately it was not one of our best shows. Zottie was very well behaved and tried his heart out, it was the rider that got it very wrong. For some unknown reason I prepared him differently for this competition and it didn't work.
I'm glad I tried it but should maybe have done it at a smaller show, but we live and learn.
Next on the agenda for him is the Nationals, Lets hope I don't get that one wrong!!!
